Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful To Go 6-pc Collection

Bobbi Brown is known for her excellent quality, no nonsense approach to makeup that even newbies have no problem beautifying themselves. I personally adore her cream eye shadows over any other line out, as well as her gel eyeliners......them babies have got staying power from hell! Wonderfully pigmented and so easy to work with. I love, love, love. However I'll save that for another post. What I'm reviewing now is her goof proof Pretty Powerful To Go 6-pc Collection available at QVC.com, just follow this link http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.CM_SCID.coll.item.A211846.desc.Bobbi-Brown-Pretty-Powerful-To-Go-6pc-Collection Now as much as I love makeup, I do love Bobbi's minimalist reputation built on the belief that every woman is and can be even more beautiful by playing up her best features. I have to admit I purchased this kit just for the gel eyeliner in the Patina shade exclusive to the collection. It's a gorgeous blackish brown with micro shimmer. The kit contains a 4 pan eye shadow palette in brown tones with a sliver shimmer wash to apply over your base shadow which you wouldn't think would work upon laying eyes on it but complements the other colors perfectly. There is a 4 pan lip palette with 2 lipsticks along with 2 lip glosses. Then there is a 2 pan blush palette with one color that is more subdued to apply as you normally would and another color that is brighter with a bit of shimmer to apply to the apples of the cheek to make them pop. The kit comes with travel sized brushes for everything so that everything you need to do your whole face is in a little adorable metallic clutch. This awesome little collection can take you from a more natural, subdued look to night by adding more color or switching it up. Don't get me wrong I love a lot of makeup however if I was stranded on a deserted island this would be what I would take with me. Now on to the pictures. Enjoy! Xoxo

Stila Naturaleyes Eye Shadow Palette

Stila has 3 great eye shadow palettes out right now. The Naturaleyes Palette which I'll be reviewing in this post, In the Moment Eye Shadow Palette, and Floraleyes Eye Shadow Palette. All three palettes come with instructional cards for different suggested looks which quite frankly are gorgeous. They all also come with a Smudge Stick waterproof eye liner which are one of my favorite liners out. They glide on stupid easy and have crazy staying power. This particular collection comes with the shade Damsel, a brownish black. I'm head over heels for the Naturaleyes Palette, the shadows are nice and buttery, silky, and soft. However the shades Kitten, one of Stila's most popular shades, and night sky are rather soft to a fault. With these two shades they're so soft you have to lightly tap your brush to load on the color or you'll push right down to the bottom of the pan. I created each look from the tutorial book for you which I have to say I loved every single one. Bare is a light buttery shade. Kitten is a pink tinged golden shimmer. Bliss is a matte terracotta shade. Sunset is a gorgeous shimmery dark rust/copper shade. Sandstone is a medium brown matte shade. Champagne is a shimmery tan shade. Gilded Gold is a gorgeous brown shade with golden shimmer, one of my favorites. Luster is a dark brown/black shade with gold micro shimmer. Night Sky is a navy blue shade with silver micro shimmer. And Ebony is self explanatory, a matte black shade. This palette is a MUST girls so run and get your hands on it! They're available at Sephora, Ulta, and Stila's website. So on to the pictures of the palette and tutorial looks. Enjoy! Xoxo

Too Faced Summer Eye Palette

I gotta say, Jerrod Blandino Too Faced founder has outdone himself with the Summer Eye Palette! I am head over heels in love with this collection. The textures of the shadows are buttery, soft, and just plain wonderful. Fallout is not an issue. The colors are shimmery to complement bronzed skin, and just plain gorgeous, well thought out and executed. My hands down favorite is the Day look out of all three tutorial cards. Beautiful golds, gorgeous browns, summer appropriate coral and an aqua/teal. This palette is a must. Apparently I'm not the only one smitten with this collection as these babies are flying off the shelves. Valued at $121.00 this baby is priced at $36.00 As described on Too Faced's website this is a limited edition, tropical-inspired eye shadow palette which captures the fun colors of long summer days and sultry summer nights and they couldn't be more right. If you can only afford one collection for this summer this would be it. Grab it while you can! Xoxo
